Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
What a comforting truth this verse holds — God sees you. His eyes are not distant or indifferent; they are tenderly fixed on you. The Creator of heaven and earth notices every tear, every effort, every quiet act of faith that no one else sees. You are never overlooked.
David wrote this psalm after a time of deep fear and danger. Even then, he found assurance in knowing that God’s eyes were upon him and that His ears were open to every cry of his heart. When life feels uncertain, when prayers seem to echo in silence, remember this promise — God is not ignoring you. He is watching, listening, and working in ways unseen.
The word “open” here means continually attentive. God doesn’t close His ears to your pain or grow weary of your prayers. He leans in close — ready to comfort, to guide, and to rescue. Your cries move His heart.
So today, lift your eyes and take courage. Even if your situation hasn’t changed yet, know that you are held in divine attention. The same God who heard David’s cries hears yours, too. Keep praying. Keep trusting.
When you can’t see the way forward, remember: His eyes are on you, His ears are open to you, and His heart is for you. You are never unseen.
