Anchored in Victory

Psalm 146:5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God.

When the storms of injustice arise and the winds of depression circle overhead, where are we anchored?

Do we trust the things of this world to help us? Will we bank on our wealth and assets?

Or do we put our trust in God, for whom nothing is impossible?

Sometimes it is easier to trust that which is tangible. Especially in today’s world, where trust is a by-product of legal documents such as contracts and offer letters, we are culturally trained to trust conditionally.

But are we using the same principle with God? Do we need to see tangible results before we start trusting Him?

Our God does not go back on His promises! Millenniums ago He stopped Abraham from sacrificing His son and said “I, myself, will provide.”

Though it hurt God immensely to offer His own son as a sacrifice for the redemption of humanity, He did not go back on His promise.

Today, we have direct access to a God, who is all we need when we have no one to support us.Things that seem impossible with man are possible with God! When we put our hope in the God of miracles, we will experience freedom from stress and anxiety, because our God can turn any situation in our favour!

Don’t let the slow poison of stress and anxiety destroy you. Just give it all to Jesus in Prayer, stand still and prepare yourself for Victory!
