God’s Promises Never Fail

Isaiah 40:5  The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

If God promises something which is humanly not possible, how long would you wait for your miracle?

A 75-year-old Abraham was childless. His wife, Sarah, had tried to conceive a child for many years, without success. Time had run out on them. The onset of old age had wiped out every last hope of experiencing the joy of parenthood.

That’s when God promised to make Abraham into a great nation!

Sounds impossible, doesn’t it?

But Abraham was a man of great faith and he held on to God’s promise.

Fast forward 24 years…

Abraham was a 99-year-old man with no children. Over the decades, Abraham’s faith had been tried and tested to such an extent that he now laughed at the thought of having children.

But, God had not forgotten His promise! Abraham was blessed with his first son Isaac, when he was a centurion! And the Holy Bible says he had many children after Isaac!

Too often, we expect God to deliver on His promises immediately. Timelines are further shortened when the promise is not humanly attainable, and the need for a supernatural miracle is in order!

If God has promised something, He will deliver at the right time! Have faith!
