Greater Victories in 2020

Psalm 118:14  The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.

Judah was surrounded by three nations that plotted its destruction.

King Jehoshaphat knew that no military strategy would be good enough to defend his nation. Only God could save them!

While all of Judah was fasting and praying for a miracle, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel, who prophesied:

“This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” – 2 Chronicles 20:15

The next day, at the break of dawn, the Judean army stood poised for battle.

But the king did something very strange…

Instead of positioning his most able soldiers in the frontline, he sent a platoon of worshippers ahead of the army!! Instead of shields they carried tambourines, in place of spears, they held flutes; and as opposed to war cries, the enemies heard heavenly music!!

The next day, the headline in ‘The Times of Judah’ read something on the lines of: “3-nation-army dances to the tune of local choir! The Lord of Miracles does it again!!”

Amazing, isn’t it!?

When we let the Lord fight our battles, He will give us victories as we’ve never seen before!

In fact, after the 3-nation-army massacred each other, the people of Judah required 3 full days to gather the spoils of war.

“So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.” – 2 Chronicles 20:25

No battle is too hard for our God!

In 2020, we believe that the Lord will not only give us great victories, but Greater Victories than we can imagine!!
