Power of Praise

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

Praise and worship is a powerful part of our walk with God. It is commanded by God, and just like all the other things He tells us to do it. The Bible is filled with examples of praise when we see His power released – life-changing miracles, dramatic stories of the enemy being halted or defeated, hearts being changed and drawn closer to Him.

Nothing satisfies our God more than a heart filled with thanks and a mouth filled with praise. It is imperative to harbor praiseworthy thoughts and live a life that brings glory to God.  All He is after is a believing heart and a mouth that will praise Him in best and the worst of times. It may be a struggle at times due to our circumstances and the things we may be going through.  We could be trapped in a hopeless situation with nothing to look forward to, but giving Him honor and praise will uplift us and rejuvenate us.  In fact, giving God praise at that time may just be the one thing that with take us out of the situation.  So Give Him all the Praise that HE deserves.
