Sing a new song

Psalm 40:3 -And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

What could be a new song? A new song could be anything. It could be a change of habit, a change of behaviour or a change of attitude. The Lord sings different kinds of songs unto us in many different ways. We need to be sensitive enough to recognise the song. At times we will just hum unto him words of praise and worship. When we praise him we learn to surrender. When we surrender we learn to let go. When we learn to let go we learn to trust and when we learn to trust our cup overfills with Grace and fear to know him more.

So be inviting of the Lord’s cup. Allow him not only in the troubles of life but also in the silence of your being. Invite him in every nook and cranny of your lifestyle. And each time we do that he will give you a new song.
