Psalm 100:3 NIV
Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
There are moments when life feels like a restless chase—when we search for purpose, identity, and belonging in places that never truly satisfy. But then, the still voice of our Maker whispers through the noise: “Know that the Lord is God.” These words awaken the soul. They remind us that we are not wandering without meaning.
The One who sculpted the stars has also formed our very being—and He calls us His. This psalm paints a tender portrait of divine care. We are the sheep of His pasture, safe beneath the watchful eyes of a faithful Shepherd. His hands shaped our hearts, His voice guides our steps, and His love covers every scar.
Even when the valleys grow dark or the hills seem steep, His goodness leads us home. The Lord does not forget His flock; He walks beside us through every shadow until we rest again in His light. So let this truth settle deep within—You belong to God. You are chosen, cherished, and cared for by the Shepherd of all creation.
Stand tall in that assurance and move forward in faith, for the fields of His grace stretch farther than fear, and the gates of His pasture are always open to His own.
Prayer: Loving heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of being called children of the Most High God. We surrender our lives into Your hands for You to be our shepherd and lead us in the paths of righteousness. We cast every burden and bring every worry to You in prayer. Help us and teach us Your ways, Amen.
