Worthy of all our praise

2 Samuel 22:50-Therefore, I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.

The above verse is a part of David’s song of deliverance in the Old Testament. Kind David never failed to thank God for the blessings in his life. His heart poured out praises and appreciation for the Lord at all times. He did not shun away from thanking God even in the presence of heathens.

Do we believers profess our love for Christ in front of non-believers or fear that our faith will be mocked by onlookers? David teaches us through this verse that nothing should stop us from praising God in the manner that He deserves to be praised. Let us be thankful for the blessing that we receive from our Father in Heaven because without Him we are nothing. Do not feel embarrassed to shout out praises to Him because He is not ashamed of us in spite of all our shortcomings.
