Ephesians 3:20-21 – “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
There is seldom any doubt in our minds that we serve an almighty, all-powerful God. But do we truly believe that His power is actively at work within us? In the verses above, Paul reminds the Ephesians that God is able to do abundantly more than all that they could ask or even imagine. These words serve as a reminder to us as well. Let us not belittle our God and His unlimited power.
The One who spoke the universe into existence has spoken into your life as well. The Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead resides within you. He is able to do much more than what we can comprehend with our human brains. But let’s not restrict God’s power to the physical world around us.
Allow God’s power to transform you from the inside out. Ask Him to raise your spiritual standards – that you may grow in love, grace, and in the knowledge of Him. Believe that God is able to help you overcome your secret sins, that you might experience a deeper level of intimacy with Him. God’s power is at work in you. And if you’ll allow Him, He’ll work through you as well, to bless the lives of others around you for His glory.
