Hebrews 1:3 – “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.”
So often we look to God as a father, friend and brother that we forget He is the Master of all creation. He created the massive mountains and tumultuous seas with just a word. He holds the universe by His power – a fact we cannot even pretend to understand. All the planets spinning in space, galaxies and stars that haven’t even been discovered yet – He holds them all.
One look at the big picture is enough to change our perspective. How can the God of the whole universe be interested in a speck of a human being who lives on a tiny planet called earth? And yet, He does. God is interested in you because He loves you… So much that He sent His only Son to die on your behalf, so you can spend eternity with Him.
Whatever you are going through pales in comparison to what God can do for you. If you’re feeling alone and dejected, remember that the King of the universe loves you deeply. He will work it all out for you in the end. Put your trust in the Lord who still holds the stars in the sky.
