Romans 5:21
So that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is a scientifically proven fact that we are what we eat. The University of Oxford website states that the diet of organisms can affect the DNA sequence of their genes. Is it…could it be…is that why when Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, their entire genetic structure was impacted? Sin had entered their souls and was exhibited in the flesh too. Death, therefore, was the ultimate result and no man was able to escape it or stop its power.
Wait, death is not ultimate. Through one man’s disobedience, sin found a way to reign. Yet, through one Man’s obedience, all those who eat of His flesh are made completely righteous…to their very DNA and soul…being restored to what the Most High had originally intended His creation to be. “How can that even be possible?” asks some. The answer to which is “through undeserved favor” which we better know as “grace.”
The Lord Most High created man to have complete authority, to be fruitful, to increase, to fill, to control and to have jurisdiction over the earth and everything in it. Sin destroyed all of this, it disqualified man direct access to the Lord. It scarred the relationship of man and Yahweh. The sin in man was a repulse to the Most High. And so stepped in our Messiah, the Anointed One, the One who came to restore our very innermost beings, the One who paved the way so we could firmly stand before the Most High, the One who established us as heirs of Yahweh. This is what is ultimate-the price that was paid by Christ for you. Now that we are reconciled, so long as we are in the flesh, we are daily delivered from sin’s dominion through His resurrected life! You are no longer a slave to sin. You are a child of God. Through grace, you have been reinstated, thanks to Christ. Go live like it!!!
