2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
All of us, at some point in our lives, have been inspired by someone we met, a book we read, a movie we watched or a story we heard. But being inspired is one thing and having a life-changing experience is another.
The term “inspiration”, means to excite, encourage or breathe life into. In the verse above, Paul the apostle is talking about the Holy Bible. Every word in the Holy Bible is God-breathed and God-inspired. The written Scripture in the Holy Bible is profitable for doctrine – teaching and instructing, profitable for reproof – pointing right from wrong, profitable for correction – providing solutions for every problem, and profitable for instruction in righteousness – the right way to live. No other book in the world can boast of containing perfect knowledge except the Holy Bible.
Every word in the Holy Bible is tried and tested. No word in the Holy Bible is produced by man but it is spoken by God through the Holy Spirit.
God speaks to us through these scriptures and changes our lives with His revelations. Are we ready to receive His Word in our lives and lead a stress-free and happy life? It is an easy choice to make.
