The Altar of God Brings Thanksgiving

I will go about Your altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works. Psalm 26:6–7

The altar of God signifies purification and sanctification. The altar of God is also a place of separation where we devote our focus on God. An altar is an area of purification and every object that is placed on the altar is burnt with fire.

When we are at the altar of God, we will become aware of the overwhelming presence of God. The presence of God purifies us. Our pain, sin, unforgiveness, hopelessness, disease, curses, depression passes through the fire of God. During the process of divine purification, every impurity and troubles in our lives that weigh heavy on us, burn away.

After we are purified at the altar, our hearts will fill with a sense of joy, hope, love, and peace which translates to voices of thanksgiving.

Today, there may be many of us who may be worried and burdened with the thoughts that life is unfair. We may be looking around and feeling hopeless. Let us not be discouraged but let us enter the altar of God which is His presence. The presence of God will fill us. The Holy fire of God will give us Hope and Peace.
