Psalm 95:2 – “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.”
How many times do we just thank the Lord for the abundance of things He has done and continues to do for us? Normally, we come to Him with requests and petitions, and His nature is so generous that He listens to our requests in form of a prayer, and the Lord does what we ask of Him, according to His plans for us.
How often do we come to Him thanking Him for His goodness in our lives? Can you picture yourself coming to the Father, embracing Him, resting your head in His bosom, breathing slowly, trying to hear His heartbeat against your face? And then tell Him how thankful you are for taking care of you, your loved ones, your family, your friends, for being your provider and that He is all you want and need.
We must, with a heart full of joy, shout songs of praise, hymns, psalms and praise Him with words that express how grateful we are for being in His Presence.
“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” (Psalm 100:5). Amen!
