Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. – 1 John 2:6 NIV
If we claim to live for Jesus and follow Him, then we must conduct ourselves to reflect Christ. Today’s Verse explains it to us clearly –
“Anyone who claims to live in Jesus must live as Jesus did. Our Lord Jesus walked in a complete, unwavering, unbreakable relationship with God the Father.
Living for Jesus is a commitment to live as closely as possible to Him, constantly relying on His mercy and grace. Our lifestyle is a reflection of our relationship with Jesus.
Jesus is our role model for how we should live out our faith. We must abide by His teachings and practice what He taught us – To live our lives according to God’s truth and to walk in love and submission to His commands.
Let’s be so transparent about our faith in Jesus that no one will ever question why we live the way we do or who resides inside of us. The Holy Spirit is present with us, dwells inside us, and can help us live like Jesus.
The life goal of every believer is to reflect Christ to the world when they look at us. That is the best way to share the gospel of Christ to those around us.
