Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can declare all His praise? Psalm 106:2
Psalm 106 is a summary of man’s sinfulness. It covers events from the exodus and exhibits how God patiently delivers us, despite our forgetfulness and self-willed rebellion. Psalm 106:2 reflects on the greatness of God’s deeds and the challenges of fully expressing His praise. It accentuates the vastness of God’s actions and invites consideration of the unfathomable nature of His mighty works.
The history in the Bible about God’s deeds and the marvellous acts with which God is dealing with our lives will put us in astonishment at the wonderous works of His hands. He is always merciful to us. God’s mighty acts are so many that they are beyond description. Is it not important for us to remember what God has done and be thankful for it?
The list of miracles goes on and on. If you still think you have never seen a miracle, look closer. It might not be in a dramatic way how God departed the Red Sea for the people of Israel to be saved. Yet He still worked behind the scenes to save you. We are still alive amidst all the odds and challenges that we have gone through in the past years. God protected us from deadly sickness and from the outcome of our sinful nature (wrong choices). He has helped you come out of every challenge. Be appreciative. God’s purpose for our lives is to honour God. Acknowledge, honour, praise, and share the miracles that God graciously gave an opportunity to experience His works in your life.
God still performs miracles. Stay tuned!
