Psalm 112:7-8 They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure; they will have no fear; in the end, they will look in triumph on their foes.

Psalm 112 is a beautiful psalm that describes the blessings and characteristics of those who fear the Lord and delight in His commands.

Verses 7 and 8 highlight the unshakeable trust and steadfastness of the righteous, even in adversity. Their confidence is not in their circumstances but in the character and promises of God. They know that whatever happens, God is in control, and He will do everything for their good.

What are you battling today? Do you fear uncertainty in your job, relationships, or finances, anxiety over failures and rejections, fear of unanswered prayers, or fear of life due to repeated health issues? Don’t be afraid of anything; trust Him and His timing.

One of the most inspirational characters from the Bible is Joseph. He feared God but did not fear the circumstances. He had unshakeable trust in the Lord when he was thrown into the pit and when thrown into prison from Potiphar’s house. Joseph, during his adversity, wasn’t aware that he would become the ‘Chief Steward of the King’. It is the honor he received from the Lord for his unshakeable trust in Him as his lifestyle and attitude reflected his trust in the Lord.

Let us make a commitment today to cultivate a heart of steadfast trust in God. Let us rest in His promises and find our security in His unfailing love. In every circumstance, may we respond with faith and courage, knowing that God is with us and will lead us to victory.
