Psalm 95:2
“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.”
This verse calls us to approach God with a heart full of thanksgiving and joyful praise. It reminds us of the importance of gratitude as we enter into God’s presence, acknowledging His goodness and faithfulness.
Thanksgiving is more than just saying “thank you”, it is a posture of the heart that recognizes God as the source of all our blessings. Whether in times of abundance or difficulty, we are invited to come before Him with gratitude. This act of thanksgiving draws us closer to God, opening our hearts to His presence and grace.
The verse also encourages us to “shout joyfully” to God with psalms, reflecting a spirit of celebration and worship. Joy in worship is not dependent on our circumstances but on the unchanging character of God. When we focus on His goodness, our hearts naturally overflow with praise, and we can sing joyfully regardless of what is happening around us. Let us start each day by setting aside time to worship God with songs of praise or words of thanksgiving.
