I Corinthians 1:9: God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
God is always faithful. He is the one who has called us unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus. Circumstances and situation might change, but God will never change. He will be faithful because He is God. He will stick to His word or promise. The Bible says that He is not a man that He should lie to us. His promises are yes and Amen. He will remain loyal, unswerving, and unwavering in His words and deed.
Sometimes we want God to jump the gun and provide us everything at once. When God doesn’t jump the gun, we tend to think that He has forgotten us forever. Well, what we think about God doesn’t change His time and His plan for us in answering our needs. He will be faithful. Through the thick and the thin and through the storm and the calm, He will still be who He always has been. We tend to push Him away from our life when we feel disheartened at the way things are taking shape in our life. We feel discouraged and think all is lost when things don’t seem to materialize any more in our life, but the fact still remains that God is faithful and that He loves us.
God will fulfil what He has promised. We just have to believe Him and be ready to accept it. Believe that He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He will open up rivers in the desert. He will do anything to keep His word and to prove His might in our lives. He is faithful. Are we faithful to Him?
