Psalm 32:8 – I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
The Lord calls out to his sheep every day, every minute and every second. The shepherd with his staff not only stands at the doors of our hearts wanting to enter and dine with us; but he also wants to prepare, to nourish and to feed his bread of salvation. We can only do that by drinking his cup and partaking in his body. The question is how do we do that? Many think the road to knowing his salvation is the narrow road. Many draw towards this road thinking that it is full of turmoil and pain. But a few only know that it’s this road only which will produce the seed and allow it to nourish in any kind of weather and climate of life. Mighty things would you know and mighty things you will do. The staff that admonishes and cleanses us every day is the staff that also creates and shows us the way. The silence of the Lord speakth and availath much. It’s not only in his words and the sermon from his chosen vessel; but it’s more in his silence that draws one’s spirit to his and in that quietness you will see mighty things of the Lord.
