1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Be of good cheer for the Lord has overcome the world. Every day we wake up to this world; where we toil and slumber in the sweet remembrance of our Lord. At times facing the Goliaths of our lives we will need to withstand an authority we do not agree with; a temptation we need to flee or stand weak and frail in front of it and give in. What do we do in such issues and situations of our lives? When we have been caught in the web of what the world expects and what the Lord has taught us; the only thing that will help us at that time is to just surrender and keep moving on. In personal battles of life where even though we have loved ones around us – there are some that we need to fight alone. The battle of our minds, hearts or even a mere thought. The love of our Lord is the only manna that can provide us with support and reassurance that we are not alone. We are never alone. Every day we need to know that THE GREAT I AM is with us. His protection and grace are enough to take us through and be the overcomers of the world. But let us persevere and not give up. Let us fight the good fight. Let us be the soldiers and warriors shinning our light in times of dark hours and trials. Let us not forget his cross is with us. It is not a cross of burden or pain that we carry; its a cross of victory. It’s the cross that helps the blind see, the lame walk, and change the man within each one of us into a new Adam and Eve.
