Ephesians 6:10: Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
Our achievements and fame and success is not the source of our strength. Instead, our strength should be in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Depend on God for your strength. Be strong in Him. As long as you are strong in the Lord, nothing will shake you. Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion who will never be shaken. Be strengthened in the power of His might. The Bible says He is very powerful in all His deeds. There are these ups and downs in life when we pass from good times to bad times. It would do us good if we be strong in the One who will strengthen us always. God never says that because He shielded us from danger yesterday, He cannot shield us today. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. He wants you to trust Him the same way that you trusted Him yesterday for His guidance and strength.
Joshua, after the death of Moses, remained firm in the Lord. With Moses being dead, Joshua had nobody to look to except God. He had made God His one and only source of strength. He trusted in Him to win Jericho and lead the Israelites to the promised land. Be strong in the Lord and in His power.
