Be Bold.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

We learn through life and our experiences in the past. A heartbreak teaches us to raise our guard against getting hurt again, a loss of a dear one makes us vulnerable to the fact of living a life without them, constant criticisms from the very persons we seek approval from, make us think and feel negative and insufficient about ourselves. We slowly start losing courage and we forget to be bold. right in the midst of such situations and feelings of insufficiency, we must remind ourselves of this verse from the book of Joshua,Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Our LORD Jesus has shown us the path of courage and boldness. HIS life is an example of how we must live boldly and fearing none but GOD. He was not afraid to heal the diseased on a sabbath fearing the Pharisees, He was not afraid of preaching boldly in a synagogue despite knowing the fact that HE would not be welcomed there again. HE was not afraid to the extent of dying a painful death on the cross with nail-pierced hands and feet. What is that factor which made our GOD so courageous on HIS mission on this earth? Well, it’s called the PURPOSE. Jesus knew HIS purpose, and nothing could stop HIM from fulfilling HIS purpose.

Similarly, we are to know our calling in GOD. we are called to be HIS children and HIS blessings and favor are surrounding us. with these assets in us, we are more than conquerors in this world. We are equipped to handle difficult and dicey situations. We are commanded by GOD to be strong and bold and to never be discouraged by what is happening around us. always take hope and be confident, as GOD has promised that HE will be with you wherever your go.
