Build Your Castle

2 Timothy 1:6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Are you looking forward to the New Year? Or have personal events in 2023 robbed you of your joy and left you without a vision for the year ahead?

Not everyone had a spectacular 2023. Some of us went through heartbreak and pain. We never thought we would recover.

But God did not allow us to give up on ourselves. The very fact that we’ve made it this far is proof that God has us in the palm of His hands and He will turn things around in the year to come! Sometimes we just need to stop questioning and believe in the miracle-working power of God.

Samson experienced this firsthand when he was taken prisoner by the Philistines. He was a man of great strength and valour, but even he had his weakness. And the Philistines exploited it and had him imprisoned. They weighed him down with chains and even gouged his eyes out.

Samson lost his vision, but it wasn’t his eyesight that was his greatest loss. He lost his passion in life and that truly hurt him.

Some of us are in this rut, where passion seems to have deserted us. You are not going to stay here for long!
