Come to Jesus

Matthew 11:28:  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

This is how Jesus invites people to Him.  He is a God who cares for us and is concerned about us, about our situation.  Everyone who went to Jesus found a purpose for their life.  They were refreshed and never felt like their old self.  Some were convicted of sin, some had to give away money, some had to leave their profession and chose to follow Him.

In this world, we face many hardships.  We have to labour every single day to make a living or make both ends meet.  There are struggles and difficulties with every footstep.  Some people try to manage their life on their own.  They think they are their own best guides.  Some fail to take help of others.  While the world is busy trying to help itself by hoping to resolve its problem on its own, there is this loving Jesus with arms wide open calling out to everyone to go to Him.  Whoever accepts His invitation of going to Him will find rest.  There is peace and security in the arms of Jesus.  Stop helping yourselves with your thinking and resources.  You just need someone greater than yourself as a go-to person.  Jesus is ready to accept you as you are, in your current condition with all your faults and guilts and whatever you are going through.  Find your rest, find yourselves a greater comfort in Jesus.

Perhaps you are filled with sorrows and pain and are desperate to get help.  All you need to do is to just go to Jesus and exchange your burden for rest and for peace from Jesus.
