John 10:29– “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”
Once a Pastor described something like this: place a grain of rice in your left hand; make a fist with your left hand; then tightly cover your left hand with your right hand. Now imagine that you are that grain of rice, and that you are being held and hidden by Jesus (your left hand); and further, you are hidden and protected by God the Father (your right hand).
Know that there is absolutely nothing or no one that can take you or snatch you from the Father’s hand.
We are double protected. Jesus has us, we are His. And His Father who is also our Father has us too. Protected and safe. Safe from every power of darkness. Safe from every harm. Hidden and secure in the palm of His hands! Who wouldn’t want to be in this place of safety and enjoy all the benefits of being called a child of God?
This passage is a beautiful reminder of God’s sovereignty and unmatched power.
There is nothing greater than our God.
And God the Father and Jesus His Son are an incredible team: invincible.
As we approach the day we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us bow down and thank our God because He has given us His Son, Jesus, Who always fights for us; Who was born to save us and to redeem us from the hand of the enemy. And Who by His death, ensured our entry into His eternal kingdom.
Thank You Father, for all that you have done for us, and for all that you are still going to do for us, because you love us with a love we cannot explain. We honor and love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
