Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness Isaiah 43:18-19
A Handful of us either dwell on the glories or the sorrows of the past, somehow the happenings of the past keep us caged from living in the present. We often look back on our pains, or we look back and wonder how much better our life was in the past. Either way, it withholds us from enjoying our present.
God is telling us today through this verse from the book of Isaiah, to stop dwelling in our past and start living in the present and witness the great things that God has planned for our life. HE is going to make a way in the midst of the wilderness, HE is going to make all things new and resurrect us from our brokenness, depression, sorrow, and loss. Jesus is the source of life, from him come all good gifts, wellness, healing, and peace.
God knows the end from the beginning, HE is an all-knowing God and HE understands the pain we go through, the sorrows we bear, fears we face, and the best part is, despite knowing all the weaknesses HE chooses to stay with us and help us overcome our weaknesses and face our fears. Our God is not a quitter and he won’t let us quit halfway, As the bible says in Hebrews 12:2, “Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith.”
Amen we thank and praise you lord Jesus for all your blessings. Lord guide us and protect us in Jesus name I pray Amen hallelujah 🙌
