You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation. Exodus 15:13
All of us are beneficiaries of God’s mercy. God has mercifully given us everything we have, including our very breath. God is a God of second chances, therefore HE chooses to lead HIS people in mercy.
We sometimes assume that God would not be interested in sinners like us or that HE would not care about us. This assumption may be made as a result of flaws in our lifestyle or unwholesome thoughts that we may have through the day. Even though GOD knows everything and sees everything, HE nevertheless decides to show mercy to us. Instead, GOD wants us to make a point of choosing purity and righteousness in our daily lives. HE will give us the fortitude we need to resist temptation and live meaningful lives that serve higher purposes.
HE has already begun a good work in us, and HE vows to guide us in kindness and restoration. We will encounter difficulties as we walk this path of life with CHRIST, but do not be alarmed, HE will lead us in the strength of HIS Spirit and carry out both our purpose and HIS desire for us.
