Psalms 25:8-9 – “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.”
It’s a known fact that as humans, we make a lot of mistakes. We’ve done things we regret, spoken words we wish we could take back and behaved in a manner that didn’t befit a child of God. But God is merciful. Every time we confess our sins, repent and seek Him, He forgives us and gives us yet another chance. He longs to teach us His ways, but we need to humble ourselves and be willing to learn.
God cannot lead someone who is not willing to follow Him with all their heart, mind and soul. God is looking for a teachable spirit. Are you willing to give God the reins of your life? Are you willing to submit your dreams, your desires and your ambitions at the feet of God and allow Him to Gave His way. When you humble yourself, God Himself will lift you up and teach you His ways.
Prayer: Lord, I’m sorry for thinking I could live life on my terms. I submit myself under your mighty hand. Have your way in my life, Lord. I believe you know what’s best for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
