God Will Finish What He Started

Philippians 1:6 NKJV

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Today’s verse is taken from Paul’s letter to the Philippians. Paul is confident that God who began a good work in each of them will carry it on to completion. It’s the same in the life of every person who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Any good in our life originates from God. He began the good work of salvation in our lives and He will keep working in us until the end.

There’s no doubt about it – God will finish what He started in each of our lives. It’s the grace of God that plucked us out of darkness and brought us into the light. And it’s the grace of God that keeps us going on a daily basis. He gives us the wisdom and strength we need – not just to survive each day, but to thrive as His children.

God will never leave us nor forsake us. We are His workmanship, and He’s always working in us – perfecting us according to His will. Every challenge we face is molding us to be more like Him. When the time comes, He will present us faultless in the presence of His glory. Oh, what a joyous day that will be!

Prayer: Father, I’m so grateful that You will finish the good work that You started in me. Tune my heart to follow You faithfully all my days. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
