I Will Praise you, O Lord, with my whole heart, I will tell of all Your marvellous works. Psalm 9:1
Praising God is an act of showing thankfulness on our part. Whenever we praise GOD, we are telling HIM that we owe HIM everything and we are thankful to HIM for our lives. Generally, our inward attitude reciprocates our outward behaviors, so when we’re bitter in our hearts, our actions will be rude and manipulative, But if we are forgiving and thankful in our hearts, we will not be offensive and we will be joyful.
In the above verse, GOD is teaching us to train our hearts to be thankful and fill our inward being with praises for GOD. How can one develop a heart of Thankfulness? The first step towards being thankful is to think outside the problem. Yes, our problems don’t define us, our circumstances are not the end of the path, look beyond the problem and look at the blessings that God has bestowed upon you.
We all have gone through certain testing times when everything seemed tough and unapproachable, but we still made it, and here we are today pressing through various challenges of life. GOD has given us the strength in the past, and HE will provide the needed strength and grace today to push through the challenges and troubles of our life. Meanwhile, let us with our whole hearts, proclaim HIS marvelous works in our lives. Amen.
