Ephesians 2:4-5 NKJV
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)”
The world has taught us in its own way what Love is. According to the world, Love is surreal, euphoric, benevolent and very important in any kind of relationship. The Love that the Holy Bible describes is top-notch and at a different level altogether. The Bible describes the Love of God so splendidly that it makes us doubt and question if the Love present in today`s world is in fact love?
No love can be greater than the love of God. God`s love comes with many promises. A promise of abundance, a promise of mercy and grace. God`s love is unique and irreplaceable.
The grace of God gives us what we do not deserve and the mercy of God ensures that we do not get what we deserve. Mercy, grace and love describe God`s divine character.
Let us be thankful to God for His love that has set us free from every bondage and blessed us with a new lease of life. He has given the term love a whole new meaning. Undoubtedly, His love deserves the highest of praise.
