Psalm 103:21-22 NKJV
“Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure. Bless the Lord, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!”
When the Psalmist David urges his soul to bless the Lord, he’s reminding himself to praise the Lord with affection and gratitude. Not just with empty words spoken from his mouth but with heartfelt worship – in awe and thanksgiving of who God is and what He’s done. In today’s verses, King David encourages everyone to bless the Lord – all of creation, in every place where the Lord has dominion.
This brings us to the question: where does the Lord have dominion in your life? Does the Lord reign supreme over every aspect of your day? Does He have absolute control over everything you think, say, or do? As children of God who’ve greatly benefited from an intimate relationship with Him, it’s a privilege to submit our whole selves to Him – trusting Him to lead us in the way He sees best.
Take a few minutes to surrender your life – your body, mind, will, emotions, career, future, relationships, and loved ones – into His care. Declare His dominion over every area of your life. Thank the Lord for His wonder-working power that’s active in your life and submit to His thoughts and plans for you.
Thank and praise you lord,I thank you for the blessings. For this new. Bless the lord oh my soul. Amen 🙏 Hallelujah 🙌
