“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”
From the beginning of the world, God’s great love for His children is depicted in the Bible through various circumstances. While we were yet sinners, God opened a pathway for us to turn away from doing evil and be reconciled with Him. His presence is now manifested in our day-to-day lives. Being observant of the ways of God helps us understand that we are infinitely loved for eternity!
It is hard to fathom the kind of love God bestowed on each one of us when He adopted us into His family. We are His children, and we get to possess all the heavenly blessings and earthly favour He has promised. Furthermore, we are filled with the Holy Spirit who guides us to become more like Him. The world might not recognize us now, but we get to experience the fulfilment of a new life with Christ.
Loving heavenly Father, thank You for Your immense love upon us which moulds us in Your image. Let us remember, even on our worst days, that You are our Father and we are Your children. May we build upon the identity You have given us and always remember to live for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
