Jude 1:24-25:  Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.  Amen.

God is the one who deserves all the glory, majesty, dominion and power both now and forever.  He is the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory.  Jesus has saved us from the bondage of sin.  He will keep us from falling and being blamed.

We are tempted to fall into sin many times.  It is a challenge to lead a holy life after knowing Jesus fully and the redemptive work on the cross for our sins.  Jesus has given us the authority to be called as His children.  This authority is for everyone who believes on His name.  When we are born again, i.e., when we accept Him into our life and hearts, we no longer belong to the kingdom of darkness but to the kingdom of God.  When we are baptized, we openly declare we belong to Him.  Yet, in spite of all this confession and declaration, we have a great task ahead of us and that is holy living.  We cannot be perfect but can strive to be perfect.  We need Jesus to help us from stumbling back to our old lifestyle.  We need His help to keep us from falling into sin again.  He is able to do so because His love for us is so strong.  He loves us dearly to let us be captured again by the enemy of our soul.

Jesus will present us blameless and faultless and righteous before God the Father with immense joy.  What are we doing to keep ourselves from guilt and fault and stumbling and falling into the world again? Let us re-examine ourselves and get us aligned based on God’s word.  Never take God’s redemptive work for granted.  Let us respect it.
