Ephesians 6:24: Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Paul speaks about God’s grace in various portions of his epistles. It is his wish that the grace of God be with all of them who love God with a sincere heart. Grace is the unmerited favor of God in our life. We did not deserve to be God’s children but were made so by His grace.
Christianity is all about God’s grace. God chose to give us this expensive gift of grace because He loved us. Paul says that when we were still sinners, He died for us. This is a beautiful demonstration of His love for us. Paul desires this grace to be with everyone who love the Lord sincerely. Paul experienced God’s grace immeasurably in his life. He was nourished by it when he was caught in perilous times such as shipwrecks and persecution. God himself told Paul that His grace was sufficient for him when he asked God to remove the thorn from his flesh. Undoubtedly, Paul was the apostle who basked in the grace of God more than anybody else. He was an enthusiastic preacher of the gospel. He worked and toiled with all of his heart and soul. He loved God sincerely.
If we love God from our hearts irrespective of the situation that we are in, His grace will abound in our lives. Just as how God said to Paul that His grace was sufficient for him, He would tell us the same thing too. Love God continually.
