1 Peter 5:10
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Suffering does not have the final word – grace does!
Peter writes, “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you”. This is not a vague comfort, rather a promise from the One who sees every tear and plans every comeback.
Joseph was betrayed, imprisoned, and forgotten, but God restored him to lead a nation. Naomi lost everything, yet grace found her through Ruth. Job endured unimaginable loss, but God gave him double for his trouble. These stories are not exceptions; they are patterns of divine restoration.
All healings ultimately come from God. He Himself restores and strengthens what is weak, steadies what is shaken, and anchors what is drifting. He authors your comeback. So hold on. The suffering may feel long, but Peter calls it “a little while.” Grace is already moving. Restoration is already scheduled. Strength is already forming. You may not see it yet, but heaven is rebuilding what hell tried to break.
Today, lean into the God of all grace. Allow Him to rebuild what was broken. Let Him steady your steps. Let Him make you firm and steadfast – not just for survival, but for impact. May grace do what grit cannot. So rise like Joseph, return like Naomi, and endure like Job. Let your scars become strength and your trials birth testimony. The grind may bruise you, but grace will build you.
Amen, Hallelujah! Today’ s message brings solace to my weary soul, my hope is in Jesus, my children are going through tribulations, so this message is like a balm to my stress
