Psalm 62:8
“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.“
Here we have David’s exhortation to others to trust in God and wait upon Him, as he had done. Those that have found the comfort of the ways of God themselves will invite others into those ways.
Whom is David addressing: He is addressing this counsel to all who decide to trust in Christ.
What counsel does David give: David is asking all to:-
* To trust God irrespective of our understanding of the situation
* To converse with God: Pour out your heart before him, which means prayer, which, if it is as it should be, is the pouring out of the heart before God.
What encouragement David gives us to take this good counsel: God is a refuge for all of us.
Today let us remind ourselves
“There is no problem too big, God cannot solve it
There is no mountain too tall, God cannot move it
There is no storm too dark, God cannot calm it
There is no sorrow too deep, He cannot soothe it”
He is our refuge and strong tower, we will be safe in Him.
Blessed Day ahead
