John 6:35 – And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
Many of us look to Lord Jesus for material things. When we pray to Him, we usually pray for the provision of day-to-day needs. It’s not that God cannot or won’t provide that. He looks after our every need. However, our God is a God of making the impossible possible. Our earthly bodies will perish and return to dust, but once we feed on Lord Jesus our, Bread of Life, through Him we will have everlasting life.
When we reach out to Jesus in faith and trust in Him, He feeds us spiritually and we will never hunger or thirst. He is the giver of life and the forgiver of sins. Through Him, we are born again spiritually and by His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, He bought forgiveness for all our sins.
Lord Jesus was sent by God the Father to this world to do God’s will. He was sent to the world for us. Lord Jesus said He is the Bread of Heaven all of us who look to Him and believe in Him will have everlasting life. He will save us from sin and evil and lead us to our Heavenly Father.
Lord Jesus, You’re the Bread of Life and Living Water and when we trust in you Lord, we know that we will never hunger or thirst. You feed us spiritually Lord and we look to you Jesus to do your will in and through us. Thank you for your sacrifice on the Cross, Lord Jesus, through which we are cleansed and through you, we come to God. Amen.
