Psalm 104:33 “I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the LORD.”
The Holy Bible commands all living beings to praise God. Praising God is not just an act of worship, but also a sign of obedience and love towards our creator.
In our troubles, praising God may be the game changer. It has the power to turn our weakness into strength because when we praise God, we humble ourselves in His presence and acknowledge the fact that even though we may not be able to overcome this circumstance, He is more than able. We learn to rely on His supernatural strength and not on our own.
Now you may ask, why should we praise God? Well, the reasons are unnumbered. We praise Him for his never-ending grace, unfailing love, countless mercy, divine protection and abundant blessings just to name a few.
Praising God is not an option but a commandment. Praise has the power to change the atmosphere you are in. It creates an environment where God’s presence reigns and miracles happen.
The next time you feel overwhelmed due to a situation and don’t feel like praising God, please take a moment and think of all the good things God has done in your life. Whatever you may be going through, praising God will give you the breakthrough. Let us cultivate a habit of praising God in every situation because He truly deserves our highest praise.
