Have you thought about the difference between love and hate? They aren’t just emotions that pass with time. Both love and hate have consequences that affect our lives immensely!
Love brings healing and deliverance from all kinds of bondage, and freedom from suffering. Though this may seem impractical because the world has taught us to fight fire with fire, the truth of the matter is that we are wired to love!
Human beings work best when love overpowers hate.
Practising hatred, on the other hand, is like burning down your own house to get rid of a rat. No good can come out of it.
The Lord Jesus’ love for us was so true that it washed away all our sins. Sin no longer has dominion over us because of His unfailing love. Hate was defeated and love stood victorious.
God is almighty and powerful! He could have fought sin through any means and still emerged victorious. However, He chose love as His weapon to teach us the power of love over hate.
It was imperative that God suffered and died on the cross for our sins in order to set the perfect example of love. Allow God to inspire you today and thank Him for His agape love that shelters us more than ever in these uncertain times.
