But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
James 1:22 NKJV
And the truth remains that we are not forgotten, because His grace knows our name. Wondering how? His grave is still empty and He’s still on the throne working on our lives relentlessly. There are several interpretations of the gospel, but one of the easiest ways to look at it, is to see how expressive it is. God’s love for us, from Genesis through Revelation is simply mind blowing.
While God’s love was on the cross for everyone to see, He intended it that way to show us what it looks like to love, obey, submit and surrender. James 1:22 talks about how we must be doers of the word, and not hearers only, and be cautious not to deceive ourselves. Let us not forget that we don’t just live by faith, but our works must reflect our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as He lead a perfect example, His works spoke of the faith He received from above. Remember dear brothers and sisters, His word was given to us, so that we allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify, restore and reform us.
Our goal is to become more like Jesus and therefore we must be willing to do as much as we believe. As faith and works go hand in hand, let us believe that we are what His word says we are, we have what His word says we have and we can do what His word says we can do! May we align our lifestyle and faith to the truth.
Our life must be expressipn of his word…
Christainity is expression of Gods word in that person
