Isaiah 49:15
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
A mother is considered the most compassionate and loving person in one’s life. She protects the tiny form growing in her womb for nine long months. She suffers agonies of labor and childbirth. Then nourishes from her breast. All through she is compassionate, and loving to her little one. A mother, who is as imperfect as she is, can show such love, how much more will our Heavenly Father love, protect, and cherish us who are His blood-bought children.
It was God who formed us in our mother’s womb and ordained each day of our life. It was our Saviour who suffered much agony and labored, in love, on the cross for us to redeem us from our sins and make us His bride. He constantly nourishes us through His Holy Spirit and His Word.
Isaiah 49:15 says even if Mother forgets us, our God does not. He loves us with everlasting love and has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. His faithfulness never ceases. So, no matter what we face let us take to heart this truth, If God be for us who can be against us, and trust and hope in Him and Him alone.
