John 4:12: No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
God wants us to love another. When we love one another just like how Christ has loved us, it means God dwells in us. His love is perfected in our lives when we have godly love among us.
Nobody has seen God, but we can still learn to be God-like in our day to day activities with people around us. Learn to forgive people who hurt you. Learn to be friendly with people who are not so kind. It is difficult to love our enemies, to be friendly with people who are hurtful, and to be nice to people who are rude and mean. Yet, God wants us to love one another. That is what Jesus did when He was on the earth. He loved people. He was people friendly. People loved Him and followed Him. He never rejected anybody who went to Him. He demonstrated His love through miracles. He fed the people when they were hungry. Such is God’s love for us.
We have heard and read about God’s love. We have experienced His love in our lives. Let us be people who love God and people. Show that we care for people through our acts. Show your love to people expecting nothing in return from them.
