Loved from the Beginning

Psalm 71:6 NKJV

“By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.”

God loves you. He loved you when you were in your mother’s womb, He loves you today, and He will continue to love you in the days to come. When life gets tough, we tend to wonder what we’re on this earth for. But you’re not here without a purpose. God has been upholding you since your birth. He has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and His plans for you cannot be thwarted (Job 42:2).

Even if you’re isolated from your family and friends, be assured that the ever-loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ are holding you close to Him. Don’t let doubt and confusion steal your peace. No matter what you’re facing today, know that God loves you and has you in the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16).

Like the Psalmist, turn to the Lord in continual praise. That’s a surefire way to keep your focus on the Lord who loves you rather than on the situations that are draining you. The Lord who’s upheld you since your birth is not going to let you down now. Lean on Him and rest in His unchanging love. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You can count on Him!
