For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:6 NKJV

Psalm 1:6 declares that God’s eyes are constantly upon us. Indeed, the Bible describes us as the apple of His eye (Deuteronomy 32:10). Just as a mother tenderly holds her child’s hand while navigating busy streets, God holds our hands, shielding us from the perils of the world. Yet, it’s crucial that we remain obedient, steadfastly holding onto His guidance and not straying into ungodly paths.

The Lord’s prayer serves as an efficient prayer tool to stay in the shelter of GOD, it says, in Matthew 6:13, “do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

The world we inhabit is incredibly noisy, often overwhelming us with its noise. We become ensnared in the rat race of outdoing others, striving to leave a lasting impact in our careers, amassing wealth, bolstering our bank accounts, and navigating the pressures of social media. Amidst this worldly clamor, we frequently overlook the gentle whispers of God’s voice, which continually reach out to us through His Word, our Church, and the messages of our pastors. Tragically, we fail to discern these divine messages amidst our preoccupation with our worldly pursuits.

God is sovereign; He is above everything and everyone. He knows when we stray, when we leave His side. Hence, He is calling us today to reaffirm our lives. Just as we set our GPS map location before starting our car to a destination, let us put on our armor of God and follow His direction as we embark on another day in our journey to eternity.
