Isaiah 60:21 NIV
“Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendour.”
This verse speaks of the restoration and glory of God’s people. It is a promise of transformation where God’s people will be righteous, not by their own strength but by His grace. The righteousness mentioned here is not just a moral or ethical condition but a relational one, being in right standing with God as a result of His work in their lives.
Like a gardener carefully planting and nurturing a seed, God has planted each of us with intention. We may not always understand the circumstances of our lives, but we can trust that we are in God’s hands. His plan is to nurture us so that we grow in righteousness and reflect His goodness. This process is not about striving to be perfect but allowing God to work through us.
We are the work of God’s hands, created for His glory (Ephesians 2:10). Rest assured in knowing that your righteousness and future are secure in God’s hands, and your life is part of His grand design to display His glory.
