‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-29 – “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

We live such busy lives these days that we’re often tired and worn out by the end of the day. We eagerly await the weekend, only to have it buzz right past us before we get the chance to recuperate. The monotony of everyday life and the stress that’s perpetually right around the corner are enough to make us feel faint and weary.

We may face moments of physical, emotional and even spiritual weakness. But aren’t you glad our Lord never faints nor grows weary? Today’s verses remind us that He can be our source of unlimited strength, if we allow Him. When a toddler grows tired of walking and his legs start aching, he has the assurance that his father will carry him. If an earthly father could do that, how much more will our Heavenly Father carry us when we feel we’re too weary to keep going?

God is ready to give power to the faint and strength to the weak. We just need to have an active relationship with Him, open our mouths and ask Him to help us. Do you feel tired and weary today? Tap into God’s power. Spend time in His presence and He will grant you the spiritual, emotional and spiritual strength you need for today.
