1 John 5:11 (NKJV) – And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Kenneth Davis from Baltimore, a young drug dealer who got into an argument with a disabled teenager, killed him by shooting him in the head and fled from the scene. The police arrived, filed a case and began the investigation. However, as they could not find enough evidence, Davis has not been charged or proven guilty. According to The Baltimore Sun, around the same time, in a span of 5 years, 68% of the murder cases haven’t had proper closure as they had to be dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Almost always, the absence or the presence of evidences in court rooms determine the verdict.
Let’s think about this…we learn from the Bible & history that Jesus had taken the form of a man, came to the earth, died for us and resurrected. Do we really need more evidence to believe that God loves us & has planned an eternal life for us? Let’s lay aside our doubts, our questions, our fights over trivial things, our races for momentary materials; and let’s fix our gaze on God and prepare ourselves & look forward for our eternal life with Him. Let this evidence be our reason to be in the hope that one day we will be united with Him in glory and live with Him happily ever after.
Amen..Praise to the LORD Almighty Loving Gracious Father GOD.
