1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Our God is a good God. He is a faithful God who always has only the best planned for us. He loves us unconditionally and has chosen us for a life of eternity with Him in Heaven.
Today’s verse talks about God’s will for us. His will for us is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in everything.
Rejoice always says, God. Rejoice not because of the situation you are in. This could be good or bad depending on the season you are going through. Rejoice because God has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As His children, we know that no matter what we are going through He is in control.
God wants us to pray without ceasing. God enjoys listening to and talking to you. We look to God for wisdom and guidance in all that we do and all that we plan for ourselves. He is a prayer-answering God and waits to hear from you. Pour out your heart to Him continually through your day.
We give thanks in everything because it is the will of our Father. All that we have is from Him and through Him. His hand is always outstretched for you to reach out to Him in your times of need and to celebrate with Him in times of success. When God is for us, who can be against us.
